When I turned 30 I was faced with the harsh reality of what the future of my accounting career entailed (high stress, low activity, & low gratification) and that I was heading away from a life of physical and mental fitness. I took a job at a large commercialized gym to give training a shot. I had always been active, competitive, and found a sense of calm in physical movement. Little did I know, the interactions I started having with clients would change their lives…and mine. I chose to move forward with a career in personal training and immediately realized how much I enjoyed working with people. It brings me great joy to give them the chance to succeed and perhaps even conquer their own internal battles, just like exercise helped me. These days, I am grateful to be sober and in the best physical and mental shape of my life. My intention is to make personal training accessible and sustainable. KMF will bring fitness to you whether you’re working out at home, a park, or in a gym setting.
